Summer School 2015

The Summer School, organized by DADU, with support from DICAAR (Univ. of Cagliari) is structured in three design workshops, lead by visiting professors and by teaching staff and scholars form both Departments

The school is adressed to students from both, Cagliari and Sassari, Universities.


The Workshop Virtual Cityscapes, Videomapping for Cultural Heritage is open to professionals. We have reserved eight slots for this profile of attendants.

Associate Professor in Industrial Design at Istanbul Technical University

Her areas of expertise range from the history of design to Turkish traditional handcrafts. The core of Gülname’s academic interest is in the interaction between Applied Arts, Craft and Design, Cultural Heritage Management.

She also works as a designer and consultant to Turkish brands known with particular emphasis on Turkish cultural heritage.

Creative Director – Kolle Rebbe

After an early career as lead guitarist in Noise-Rock Punk Bands Rolf Leger started pursuing a career in new areas of creativity.

In 2001 he started working in advertising as Junior Art Director at the legendary German Springer & Jacoby agency. The career choice proved itself to be right, since the beginning he has won numerous International Awards, from Clios to Cannes Lions.

Currently Ralf is Creative Director at the Hamburg-based Kolle Rebbe advertisement agency, where he leads a team of 34 including Creative Directors, Online-Creatives, Copywriter and Art-Directors.

 

Alfredo Calosci

interaction designer

An Architect by training, Alfredo has been teaching in our Department form the start of our Design program, and has a wide design teaching experience at an international level.

A professional and consultant in the area of web and interaction design, Alfredo has played da key role in all our main recent projects, such as the Informanimation Erasmus IP and the 2CO Communicating Complexity International Design Conference.

Starting from 2014 is a PHP candidate at the DADU – Alghero.

Nicolò Ceccarelli

Professore Associato in Design

Over the years he has oriented his research work towards the interactions between design and digital technology, exploring various research fields such as 3D modeling and design visualization, heritage valorization, the exploration of new languages for making information accessible, through visual design. IN 2013 he organized and hosted the first edition of the international design conference 2CO_COmmunicating Complexity. More recently, in his research laboratory ‘animazionedesign’, he started exploring ways to develop a design approach aware of the local dimension, working in Morocco and Palestine.

Nicolò is currently working on the development of an Alghero based new post-graduate course of study in Neo-local Design.

 

Enzo Gentile

interaction designer

Enzo has a degree in Electronic Engineering from University of Genoa where he graduated with a thesis on computer music.

He is an expert in creative technologies for arts, audio-visual interaction design and an art director in anughea studios associates (Imperia - Italy)

Enzo teaches Multimedia Set Design at the Academy of Fine Arts of Verona. He is a creator and co-author of European Project ENPI CBC Med "IAM" and Creative Europe "ViSet" (Virtual stage designer).

Enzo’s main fields of interest include: Video and architectural mapping, motion tracking, new media design; Audio-Video processing, generative art, creative coding; 3d modeling and animation; Virtual set design

 

The summer School will start on friday september the 18th at 9.30 in the Santa Chiara building in Alghero.


The School will end in a plenary review discussion/review session, in the presence of the participate to the seminar
